Under the No Child Left Behind (NCLB) Act, schools and/or districts in Second Year School Improvement Status are required to provide parents and their children with the option of transportation to public schools of choice or using supplemental educational services to help their children. School districts must allocate 20% of their Title I — (Improving The Academic Achievement Of The Disadvantaged) funds to supplemental tutoring services.. Districts are required to notify parents that a list of approved providers is available through the Ohio Department of Education.
