TEACHING APPROACH

Based upon the areas of strengths and weaknesses an academic

improvement plan is designed to build the foundation necessary for that child

to be successful in the classroom. We use research-based instructional

strategies to remediate areas in which there are deficits. We use a variety of

instructional strategies to meet the student’s needs. Our tutors meet

regularly with the school officials and parents to discuss goals, evaluations,

and student progress towards goals, classroom performance and other

educational related issues. Nia Educational Services utilizes progress

reports to monitor progress in the classroom as well as give teachers a

chance to express any concerns or give feedback about the participating

student.
